'Wacky Walk' for Sports Relief

This year we donned our wacky wellies, hilarious hats and tremendous tutus to get active and raise money for Sports Relief. On Friday 23rd March, children from classes 2 to 5 set off on a sponsored walk through Bentham dressed as wacky and as wonderful as possible. The children had spent the last 2 weeks collecting sponsorships and organising their outfits ready to make a difference. Luckily, the weather held out for us and we were able to enjoy a lovely walk through Bentham and along the river back up to school. It was great to see so many children active whilst raising money for charity.

Please can I take this opportunity to thank all the parents, carers and grandparents who came out to support the walk on the day, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Keep your eyes peeled to find out how much money we raised.
