On Thursday, 8th February, KS2 went on a trip to Bradford. Half of the group visited a Gurdwara and the other half visited a Mosque. This was a really exciting experience for the children as it gave them the chance to bring their learning from the classroom to life! They learnt about the key features of these places of worship and were able to make comparisons between these religions to Christianity. It was also an incredibly valuable opportunity for the children to experience multiculturalism and to broaden their understanding of diversity. In the afternoon the children visisted the Wonderlab at the Media Museum and took part in a live Science show about sound. The children loved this! It was wonderful to see them so excited and engaged by Science in a hands on, practical way. All in all, a fantastic trip!
