The children thoroughly enjoyed watching Aladdin at The Grand Theatre in Blackpool.

We set off from school after an early lunch on three coaches to Blackpool. There, we were entertained by Wishy Washy and his co- stars in what proved to be a highly eventful and funny show! We watched as Aladdin went on an adventure to help a magician to find a 'magic lamp', which he later used to his advantage to claim the heart of his Princess, with a little help from a genie.

Some children were lucky enough to have a short spell on the stage, getting involved with some silly antics and games.

The children enjoyed a drink and sweets during the interval, kindly donated by the Friends of Bentham (FOBs).

On our walk back to the coaches after the pantomime, the children were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Blackpool Tower lit up against the night sky.

So, needless to say, after a busy afternoon, the coaches were rather quiet on the way back to school!
