On Sunday 2nd October, Bentham Churches Together held their Community Harvest Festival Service in our school hall.  The service was held to celebrate our farmers, shops, schools and local businesses.  It was wonderful to see the hall full with members of our local community.  There was a potato decorating competition for the children, there was singing from Bentham Praise and some of our children also sang a song , 'Conkers' which they had been learning in Singing Assembly.  A collection was taken for Farm Crisis Network and donations of food were made for local foodbanks.  Thank you to Revered Anne for organising the service and thank you to all the children, parents and members of the local community for coming along.  It was lovely to see you all.
